The Australasian Masters Games return to Adelaide in 2011 now incorporating the Australasian Masters Games. That's right! Australia's largest multisport festival just got bigger, taking it to the international stage.
The Games are a biennial multisport festival providing an opportunity for people over the age of 30 years to participate in the sport(s) of their choice regardless of background or ability.Adelaide will again attract over 10,000 participants, who will take part in more than 50 team and individual sports over the ten day period. While the competition is important one of the key attractions of the Games is the social interaction and spirit of camaraderie experienced by participants.
Join participants from Australia, New Zealand, Asia and the Oceania region in a celebration of mature age sport in the inaugural Australasian Masters Games, Adelaide 5-14 October 2007.Be there along with other Masters participants from around the region and go 'head to head' in the international arena!
From Athletics to Bocce, Cue Sports to Darts and Netball to Tenpin Bowling the Games offer something for seasoned sportspeople as well as those who have never participated.
